Yesterday, May 30th, was a special day for Sones since it was our beloved IM YOONA‘s birthday! As a treat, we wanted to trend her name on twitter by 12am KST, but Beliebers overpowered us. But because we didn’t give up, we were able to trend IMYOONA and Sones in the morning! *cheers*

Time flies and our beloved second maknae and favorite alligator is now turning 22. Wishing her all the best, may she stay the strongest in SNSD so she could carry the boxes and open pickle jars for her unnies, maintain her alligator laugh so she could stuff all the food she wants in her mouth and be the second shikshin, keep her doe eyes so she could reflect the innocence within her (which is of great help as SNSD’s image and also in the dramas she might star in) and be the most beautiful flounder the world would ever see. LOL. Happy Birthday Yoona!

Also, more good news. Today will be the start of Shoujo Jidai’s (SNSD) Japan Tour and by tomorrow, the Japanese Album will be released! And speaking of the Japanese Album, one of the original tracks from the album, Great Escape, has been released yesterday and as expected, awesomeness! It has a nice beat and is  very different from their usual style.

 

Fanwars

I really don’t get fanwars. We all have preferences, and we should respect each other for that. We don’t have to spit on each other. If you hate someone, better keep it to yourself. If you can’t, go tell someone who understands what you feel… not on some innocent fan of that person.

First off, wars between fanclubs — I guess this one’s inevitable. I’m not really a big fan of the saying “Ignorance is bliss”, even though I apply this saying in my life often — well, call me a coward — but I think this is the saying every club should go by. It’s not bad to stand up for your idols, but it’s bad to put down others because you hate them. Again with the Yoona issue. It’s true that its so much different when Yoona is in the Replay MV rather than Victoria, but a fellow sone said, “Did we ever complain when Minho appeared on both korean and japanese MV’s of Gee?”. And s/he’s right, we didn’t. Because we viewed it as SM family love. LOL cheesy. It’s not like Yoona wanted to be on the MV. I’m not saying she doesn’t like it, but what I mean is that she didn’t choose to replace Victoria. She was there because her management told her to. And besides, the possibility of her dating a SHINee member is so small, if that’s what you’re so pissed about, because she has her eyes on Kimura Takuya. Man, that girl carries a photobook of KimuTaku in her bag on a regular day! Y’all should just let this issue go. The MV is released, as if your ranting will change the “noona” in the MV.

The wars between fanclubs I can understand, but wars within the club is… IDE. Its you guys who should be sticking up for each other, not against each other. So what if Taemin fixed his nose? Does that make him less awesome? It only shows how much you look at the appearance rather than what and who he really is.  And besides, do you even have proof? Sure it doesn’t need a professional plastic surgeon to see the differences through pictures but its much better if we have heard a word from them. Or at least seen reports of him having plastic surgery. Who knows, it could’ve been maturity. He is growing like all of us you know. It’s not like he was born with a fixed face that’s never gonna change. With all the fuss you’re making now, I can’t even imagine what happened when Minho had his nose done.

Why can’t we all live in Peace? That’s why vote me as our country’s next President. LOL

 

Yoona Nomu Yeppo~

Finally, SHINee‘s MV for the Japanese version of Replay is out! I’d like to ask for pardon to the Shawols out there for spazzing more about Yoona (the supposedly “noona” of the MV) instead of SHINee who actuallysang the song. I just can’t help it. I’m a fan of SHINee but my hormones enable me to only see Yoona.

SHINee is just awesome. I suddenly missed dancing. 😥 If ever I’d be able to join a Kpop dance contest I’ll surely dance to SHINee. Again Yoona, your stare killed me.

Talking about Yoona, a member of the Oh! so awesome girl group called Girls’ Generation — just released their second teaser for the Japanese Album! I’m excited with this album. I feel that the songs are very promising and definitely better than their korean albums. Checkitout!

Too Many In One Day!

Can this week get any better? Too many good news breaking on me!

First we have Kenichi Matsuyama. He’s the guy who played the boyfriend in “1Liter of Tears”(even though I haven’t watched it yet) but he is better known for his superb portrayal of L in the movie adaptation of the hit anime/manga Death Note. It’s been long since I’ve heard of this guy and just recently, I happen to tumble across some screen caps of another hit movie (I think) of his entitled “Norwegian Wood”. I heard it’s an adaptation of a hit novel in Japan, so I decided to watch it — but I’ll talk about the movie next time. As always, I was impressed by Matsu-Ken’s acting and since I haven’t heard much about him (wow. Close?) for some time now, I decided to google him up. That’s when I found out he actually married a month ago on April Fools’ Day. What a joke, right? I guess it’ll be forever embedded on me that he is L, and knowing L getting married is surreal. I guess I have to face the fact that Matsu-Ken is not an anime character. And what’s surprising is that his wife is 9 years older than him. But who cares about the age difference if your wife starred in 2 Hollywood movies namely Last Samurai (with Tom Cruise. IKR.) and Blood: The Last Vampire? That’s right, he married Koyuki Kato. It’s always shocking to hear someone you know (whether you are close or not) getting married after not hearing from them in ages but well, I wish nothing but happiness to the both of them!

Second! Oh. Shit. My dream is slowly coming true. Girls’ Generation will finally have their 2nd Asia Tour! I still don’t know the chances of them coming here in the Philippines but I bet SM has heard our pleas and I’m sure they’ll do something about it. They better.

Third… and probably the best news I’ve heard so far. They’ll finally have a drama adaptation of Ouran High School Host Club! No, it’s not some shitty rumor fans created because the line up has been set and boy, am I satisfied with the cast! Im excited with the Hitachiin twins, the guy that plays Hani and of course Tamaki and Haruhi. I’m not really in to JDramas but this is a must watch!

Just great news everywhere! And BTW, I just saw the BTS for SHINee’s Japanese MV of Replay and I swear, Yoona makes my heart flutter. All the unecessary hate on her should be eliminated. Face it, it’s Victoria no more. I love mommy Vicky and I love Yoona too. Seriously, anti’s should try seeing more of Yoona. She’s not just a pretty face. *points gun*
