When Idols Should Stick to Singing

WOW. Wild Romance sucks. Big time.

I was looking forward to this drama because Jessica was going to be in it. And to think that it’s her acting debut on Korean television screens. First of all, the plot is just bad. It’s so shallow that I couldn’t stand watching the show for more than one and a half episode… or episodes. Whichever is grammatically correct. And another thing, I don’t know if I should be proud or insulted that they’re using Jessica as their “secret weapon” – meaning, they locked Jessica up in a box and waited ’til the moment came for them to use the right Pokémon. From that statement, you can conclude that they just used her for her popularity for being a member of the most awesome girl group in  the world and not because of her acting skills. And the nerve of some people for criticizing Sica’s acting ability. I admit her seizure act wasn’t the best, and she a few unnatural gestures but overall she’s a pretty decent actress. I think. LOL

Yuri’s drama will come out this March 12 and I’m hoping it won’t be a flop like Sica’s drama. I find the plot of Fashion King interesting, which seems to be a good start. Also, Yoona’s drama will go head-to-head with Yuri’s drama after Dream High 2 ends, since they will be both airing on the same time slot. No news yet on Sooyoung’s drama.

I hope the three of them will make it up for Jessica’s noob-ish acting. Especially Yoona since she won many awards on acting.

Sunny In The Hospital

SNSD is currently having their arena tour in Japan right now, like, every night. Ofcourse, when you’re performing for hours every night, appearing on music shows, and rehearsing for tomorrow’s performance… you’ve got to be some bionic dude if you won’t feel stress and fatigue after going through all that.

In the recent Saitama leg of their arena tour, Sunny, our very Lee Soonkyu, fainted and was sent to the hospital. I dunno if she really fainted though. From  the news I got from Tumblr and Soshified, I don’t remember them saying she actually fainted… or maybe I fail to remember reading that she fainted. Or it’s another case of blowing up the story by Allkpop. But what I don’t get though, is her apologizing because of that. Yes, because of her being in the hospital, she failed to perform her solo or for the rest of the concert for that matter, but that is not a fucking reason to say sorry to the fans. The fact that she went on with the show despite not feeling well is already worth more than gold. I can’t help but respect Sunny even more. Her humility and the the fact that she came back to the concert venue after being sent to the hospital just so she could perform with the girls for the last song leaves me in awe.

I wish nothing but the best for Sunny. The amount of respect I have for her and for the girls just doubled… and I know in the near future, it will still increase.

Well that was a very serious post.

Fanwars

I really don’t get fanwars. We all have preferences, and we should respect each other for that. We don’t have to spit on each other. If you hate someone, better keep it to yourself. If you can’t, go tell someone who understands what you feel… not on some innocent fan of that person.

First off, wars between fanclubs — I guess this one’s inevitable. I’m not really a big fan of the saying “Ignorance is bliss”, even though I apply this saying in my life often — well, call me a coward — but I think this is the saying every club should go by. It’s not bad to stand up for your idols, but it’s bad to put down others because you hate them. Again with the Yoona issue. It’s true that its so much different when Yoona is in the Replay MV rather than Victoria, but a fellow sone said, “Did we ever complain when Minho appeared on both korean and japanese MV’s of Gee?”. And s/he’s right, we didn’t. Because we viewed it as SM family love. LOL cheesy. It’s not like Yoona wanted to be on the MV. I’m not saying she doesn’t like it, but what I mean is that she didn’t choose to replace Victoria. She was there because her management told her to. And besides, the possibility of her dating a SHINee member is so small, if that’s what you’re so pissed about, because she has her eyes on Kimura Takuya. Man, that girl carries a photobook of KimuTaku in her bag on a regular day! Y’all should just let this issue go. The MV is released, as if your ranting will change the “noona” in the MV.

The wars between fanclubs I can understand, but wars within the club is… IDE. Its you guys who should be sticking up for each other, not against each other. So what if Taemin fixed his nose? Does that make him less awesome? It only shows how much you look at the appearance rather than what and who he really is.  And besides, do you even have proof? Sure it doesn’t need a professional plastic surgeon to see the differences through pictures but its much better if we have heard a word from them. Or at least seen reports of him having plastic surgery. Who knows, it could’ve been maturity. He is growing like all of us you know. It’s not like he was born with a fixed face that’s never gonna change. With all the fuss you’re making now, I can’t even imagine what happened when Minho had his nose done.

Why can’t we all live in Peace? That’s why vote me as our country’s next President. LOL

Never Unlucky

Today is Friday the 13th. I’m not really a superstitious type of person but I’m not totally against this way of thinking (or living) as well. I guess there’s nothing wrong with believing in such as long as it doesn’t do you or the persons around you harm. It’s safe to say that I am on no one’s side. My zodiac sign is Libra after all. It’s all about the balance. 😀

Today may be Friday the 13th, but it’s a very lucky day for me since it’s Girls’ Generation’s first live performance for Mr. Taxi! *insert spazzing here* Yeah baby~ It was awesome, as usual. I’d like to point out that Sooyoung’s hair is SEX. And God bless my soul — Taeyeon’s bra strap kept falling. If I were you, I’d see the marvel that is called Girls’ Generation right now and spazz my heart out.

I forgot to remind you to prepare loads of tissues in case of severe nosebleeding. But I guess it’s too late for that, huh?

Btw, thank you japanese cameramen. Job well done.
